The communications workshop Janie Gabbett conducted for our students was tremendously successful. Her lecture, interspersed with individual workshops, involved everyone and allowed them to immediately utilize the ideas she described. Several of the participants were able to try the new listening and communicating techniques out in interviews the very next day and found them valuable. Janie has natural way of involving the participants in exercises that might be intimidating for some. By building personal stories into her lectures the ideas come to life. She clearly added value to the educational process and did it a very enjoyable way.

It was a pleasure to have Janie Gabbett present to the IBM Chicago Women's Network Group (CWNG). As a professional speaker and coach, she immediately related to our group by sharing some of her personal corporate experiences. She then moved into a co-active coaching role helping us to become more aware of our communication plan. I am confident we all left the meeting more conscience of the importance of a communication plan - one that considers who are the stakeholders, what communications tools to use, when to use them and in what priority.
